Located in the westernmost part of Cuba, we find the province of Pinar del Río. Land in which Cuban farmers, usual men with straw hats, machetes on the shoulder, and tobacco between teeth, cultivate the world's most exquisite tobacco in small plots.
Visit the Viñales Valley and live the sensation of having gone back in time to see the zircons traced by the oxen, the incredible limestone rock formations that are vizlumbran on the green meadows, and the caves to explore. This green site, the Viñales Valley next to its most spectacular scenery was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Stop in Soroa, also known as the "rainbow of Cuba" for its natural beauty. A small waterfall is excellent for a refreshing bath. The orchidiary is its best attraction, with an area of three hectares, and is presumed to be the second largest in the world.
Program
- Cross the province of Havana to continue towards Soroa
- Visit Soroa where you can enjoy a swim in the waterfall and visit the orchid (you must pay a subscriber in both places)
- Continue the journey to the Viñales Valley
- Stop at the viewpoint "Las Jazmines" (an excellent place for photography)
- Visit the farmer's house to see and learn about Cuban tobacco
- Visit the town of Viñales
- Visit the Cave of the Indian (the entry not included)
- Visit the Mural of Prehistory
- Enjoy a horse ride (optional, not included)
